My career in electronic security began in 1987 at Emergency Networks, Inc., where I rose from Lead Technician to Director of Training in Operations. During this time, I developed and launched a national Technical Training Academy, creating comprehensive curriculum and hands-on training programs.

I personally trained over 500 field installers nationwide, supporting operations that handled 10,000 monthly installations. I also established recruitment partnerships with Texas State Technical Institute, bringing 75+ qualified graduates into the industry.

In 1993, I founded Friendly Security, Inc. in San Antonio. What began as a startup grew to over $1 million in revenue within two years, expanding to six branch locations across Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, and Alabama. I personally supervised every aspect—sales, installation, and technical programming.

Today, through my consulting brand Alarm Consult, I'm focused on helping others enter this rewarding industry.
